Defected Radio Show: Bring Down The Walls – 04.06.20

Digital Crate Digging Continues on this Flashback Friday; we’re still here so you can also call it a Fabulous Friday..

Some are “digging where I’m coming from” ;  they can see what I’m saying as I drop this good word and let the music play…

Of course let us pray is the advice from the old school Baptist preacher, but that advice extends to other denominations…

Especially in the midst of Covid – 19 plus in the midst of this police brutality in relationship to racial equality; plus we’re bumping heads with corporate types worried about profits in high denominations..

Meeting our breakbeat scientific obligations, dropping this Defected Radio Show: Bring Down The Walls – 04.06.20 courtesy of Defected Records..

They’re greeting us with a special edition showing solidarity with the black community, the black culture?  check out their following statements,  they’re respecting it!!

Defected Records stands with its black artists, producers, DJ’s, writers, performers, staff and friends. We see and we celebrate Gospel, Soul, Funk, Jazz & Blues… The roots of all dance music. Black art and black creativity has enriched our lives and inspires everything we do at Defected, Glitterbox & the Classic Music Company. We see and acknowledge Disco, Garage & House. Music created by Black, Hispanic & Gay producers. We also see and celebrate Detroit, The Motor City… Home of Motown and the birthplace of Techno. We are proud of our 20-year history of working alongside black artists, musicians and performers. Today’s show represents our love and inspiration for Black music, for Black culture. We stand with all people of colour. We stand against racism. We stand against the injustices of all crimes of prejudice and discrimination. We stand for Justice for George Floyd and all other victims of racial hatred. Let’s be the change. Let’s bring down the walls. – Simon Dunmore
