  1. This is beautiful!! My father was the president of the Milwaukee Jazz Society in the 50’s. Our family’s best friends were the Scat Johnson family. Scat had national acclaim as a jazz/blues singer and was the first black musician to play a white venue in Milwaukee. Two of his sons are in NYC following in his musical footsteps. Is there a way to share this? His daughter Leslie and I are still close…more than 50 years now.
