Lonnie Liston Smith – Heaven

Digging Continues check us out! we’ve got this Saturday Night Fever edition underway..

The saga / struggle continues aka life goes on as the toil and strife goes on but we’ll continue to play..

We had to lay low for a minute as bands of Hurricane Delta blow through Atlanta..

..already sheltering in place due to Covid 19 but while rolling through these Atlanta streets earlier I see my people are still on the scene understand a brotha?

I’m in the lab on the case listening to Lonnie Liston Smith with his version of the Winans classic song Heaven..

Jean Carne and Spencer Harrison handled the vocals with Grover Washington Jr on the sax as we take it to the max,  just trying to make it to Heaven!

Check this out at Lonnie Liston Smith – Heaven

Herbie Mann and Fire Island – Welcome Sunrise

Digital Crate Digging Continues as a Saturday morning morphs into a Saturday afternoon…

Bands of rain from Hurricane Delta intrude into the Atlanta area; chilling out letting the music play is the mood…

Afternoon Jazzing / O-Dog Day Partying? probably a little of both, feeling good after drinking the coffee / broth now moods are uplifted…

Soon spazzing due being in the heart of thing?  it’s  where the seven deadly sins of pride, envy, gluttony, greed, lust, sloth, and wrath dominate the landscape, as  priorities shifted..

Covid 19 and systemic racism are added into the equation; do the math while you’re on this path  or you’ll soon be caught up in the system / matrix..

Afternoon Jazzing / O-Dog Day Partying? doing both with Herbie Mann and Fire Island with  Welcome Sunrise; oh!! I see the sun peeking through the clouds!! I think we’re going to be alright , we’re gonna make it!

Stanley Turrentine – I’ll Be There

Digital Crate Digging Continues on a wet Friday afternoon in Atlanta; we’ve got a Flashback Friday set going…

The preliminary rounds of Hurricane / Tropical Storm Delta are hitting Atlanta, towards Louisiana it’s flowing..

The preliminary rounds? I heard some are in pain up in Louisville like I was when I was back in the day per Flashback Friday dipping down Muhammad Ali Boulevard in the Buick Regal or Oldsmobile Delta 88; in Louisville? authorities exhibited the hate manifested in the Breonna Taylor case..

The preliminary rounds? no substance in the Presidential or Vice Presidential debates; it’s still hard on the boulevard, y’all can’t tell a dude that’s not the real deal!! it’s probably written all over my face..

These days? we’re on the case,  O-Dog Day Partying / Afternoon Jazzing!! we’re listening to Stanley Turrentine with a track called I’ll Be There

The music plays on and on as we keep going on and on!! check out the players and the track as we take it there!!
