Dipping Through : Seeing Whats Up / What It Do (Part Ten)

Flashback Friday energy is also exhibited when we run a play, staying grounded with boots on the ground running a ground game when we’re dipping through, not trying to play a mind game… 

…especially after being caught up in the system  / matrix out in a storm on these Throwback Thursdays and Flashback Fridays.  

Raining yesterdays?  that’s what it seems, like its even when a naysayers plots and schemes were like Trump Insurrections when they’re dipping through even though they’re supposed to be new and improved; I peeped game looking at previFabulousous episodes / plays! 

My brain? scattered thoughts ran amok out there in a cusp of solitude; thoughts were lewd like I was weeded or on some schrooms asking myself is there a bridge across forever? 

The reign began with a drizzle so I had to be shrewd / use discernment and  get out of the inclement weather but it seems the strange remains, damn! will it be forever?

Bobby Byrd – “I Need Help” Part 1 & 2

Digital Crate Digging Continues as this O-Dog Day Party transitions into the Saturday Night Fever!!  I was checking my files, ran across this feature I had called What I Listened To At Work.

This song  stood out;  Bobby Byrd  with “I Need Help” Part 1 & 2. I guess I didn’t expect to hear it!! I was listening to  Atlanta’s 89.3 WRFG that particular morning. They have a program during the week from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm where they play jazz, funk,hip hop old and new school, house, drum and bass, soul music; whatever!!

It tripped me out when  they put on James Brown’s big homie Bobby Byrd, talking about he need’s help!! James Brown ad-libs in the background and you know that James Brown band is tight!! 

I could visualize yourself back in the day; dressed up in a polyester suit with some gators on, Dax or Murray slicked waves in my hair and a Gangsta brim on,  riding down Broadway in Louisville in a Brown Bros. Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham!!

Slipping into darkness like War? danger zone business reminds me that life is hectic out here in the smoke and mirrors enhanced by the fog!!   steering the mothership out in the storm like a Royal Caribbean cruise ship captain would do?

Naw dude!!  I’m trying to stay on point like I just received threats from North Korea or avoiding Pirates In The Caribbean!!  meanwhile the pimp / player was distracted asking us have you seen her?

….Sounding like the Chi-lites:  meanwhile I continue to drop these insights based on what occurred.

Jokers aren’t right!!  my peeps got *racial slurred*  at Donald Trump rallies for mentioning black lives matter.

Lines are blurred per grey area scenarios!! I see  Cruz and Rubio were talking slick with their chit chatter.

Lines are blurred:  now fastballs are coming in *swing batter batter swing * is heard as spring training gets underway.

Lines are blurred:  athletes were living fast y’all,  while teachers and police officers were barely maintaining due to the underpay.

Jogging / Staying In Shape

It’s rough out here!!! like Cleveland Cavaliers playing without Kyrie Irving there’s always something there to remind me; damn!! I guess they’re just memory joggers.

Irrational fears prevented some from swerving but those that are flexible don’t get bent out of shape!! yeah!!  so I’m out here trying to stay in shape with the rest of these joggers.

…Per Ferguson / Baltimore and all points around and in between society will disrespect a bro with the hate!!  but like miners and loggers I’m rocking the hardhat with the lantern on top when I’m going in.

Now I’m in it now up to my neck!! usually staying outside the box but I get pulled back into the game!!  now I’m back in these streets once again.

Taking it to the streets like the Doobies!! bearing witness as plots and schemes are playing out in front of me!! of course most of them going against God’s will.

Writing prompts / memory joggers are soon introduced in this good word;  like EPMD I gots to chill.

Enlightening the masses;  prompt with this as I deal with the madness!!

Jogging  / running this marathon like those cats from Kenya or maybe dipping like Usain Bolt when I came back with this.

We kept on running!!  that’s what we’re on!!  not a pretender;  pain felt after the pressure.

Haters kept on gunning!!  ear shattering gunshots exploded!!  I was under attack from all sides and angles, plus a cat from Boston strangles after feeling the pressure.

The Lord had another test for ya to jog your memory to let you know he’s in control.

Staying on one accord  dipping down I-20 in the Honda Accord!!  another way of jogging!!  in the iPhone?  entries I’m logging per this good word;  this is how I roll.

Bobby Byrd  or even Eric B and Rakim remind me;  I know you got soul or you wouldn’t be in here.
